Supporting the McGrath Foundation
This October, the Mudgee Region will support the McGrath Foundation in respect of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Mudgee Region, best known for its sophisticated food and drink credentials will turn PINK again this year, raising funds for the foundation that places Breast Care Nurses in communities throughout the country.
In 2016 Mudgee was the first town to turn PINK in Australia during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for the McGrath Foundation.
In 2018 Mudgee and Rylstone are SHINING PINK in 2018 as well as Griffith NSW, Townsville QLD, Orange NSW, Port Pirie SA, Yungaburra QLD, Newman WA, Penrith/St Mary's/Emu Plains NSW, Burnie TAS, Braidwood NSW, Westonia WA, Leeton NSW, Burkley Vale NSW, Coochiemudlo QLD, Wagga Wagga NSW, Canberra ACT, Georges River NSW
This year, the region has already gained the support of 75 local businesses. Email Mudgee Chamber of Commerce to add your business to the list and turn PINK in October.
